Our experienced installers will find how that tricky water is getting into your home. from missing shingles to ice dams. We can find it and we will fix it, for good. Affordable Gutter Service has been installing seamless aluminum gutters since 1996. Our professional installers take exact measurements of where your gutters are to be installed and custom make each gutter to fit the exact measurement of your home. New gutters and downspouts should last a lifetime when installed correctly. Gutters should be pitched with a level toward downspouts for proper drainage. Gutters are secured with screws, Oversized downspouts are installed, and all new gutter systems have a lifetime guarantee.
Gutter Installation
After the gutter is cut to length an end cap is installed on each side of the gutter to cap off each end. These end caps are sealed with the very best aluminum sealer to prevent any dripping or leaking from the gutter. A rain gutter has a slight slope or pitch normally very subtle to the eye but allows water to flow and drain correctly out of your downspouts. An aluminum flashing is installed to cover the back of the gutter preventing water from getting behind your gutter causing damage to your homes fascia boards or even interior walls. This aluminum flashing also helps prevent ice damming in the cold winter months. Each gutter length are installed with heavy gutter gutter brackets that are secured with screws. These gutter brackets should be installed every two feet of the gutters length to make sure the gutter can handle maximum weight of rain, leaves, debris, ice and snow.
Downspout Installation
A hole is cut into the gutter where a downspout will be installed to transfer rainwater from the gutter down the downspout and diverted away from the home and foundation. The downspouts are also sealed with aluminum gutter sealer to prevent any leaking. Additional downspout extensions can be installed to the bottom of downspouts to divert rainwater even further away from the foundation. When gutters and downspouts are installed correctly they will last a lifetime.
